Etching and electroforming are photolithographic processes. There is therefore a need for a product-specific mask to provide the patterns.
For additional processes, additional tools may be required if appropriate. Examples of this are bending tools and mounting panels for galvanic treatments. This is always explicitly specified in our quote.
AutoCAD DXF and PDF files are required for this. These must be drawn mechanically correctly in 2D and must include all dimensions and tolerances.
These masks remain in the possession of Etchform, exclusively for your use. Masks will be kept in storage for about 3 years, after which they only will be replaced free of charge by Etchform when regularly used.
